PHYS 132L - Introductory Physics II Labratory

Undergraduate course, Ginnell College, Physics Department, 2025

Lab will be meeting weekly for approximately three hours. During the lab, you will gain hands-on experience working with the physics concepts covered in lecture. As part of this, you will also become practiced in conducting experiments and interpreting data.

Working Together

Contrary to stereotypes, successful scientists must have social skills! Essentially, all physicists work within groups, and most good ideas grow out of discussions with colleagues. For this course to constitute a productive learning environment, it is essential that we treat each other with respect and courtesy. I expect you to: listen to each other with an open-mind; impart clearly and patiently your own thoughts and questions; and share in the work. Please refrain from arriving to the lab late, which is disruptive to your classmates and me. If you find yourself in an unproductive partnership, please let me know.
